Three men watching the soccer for their fantasy football competition

Pukki Plays A Blinder

Teemu Pukki… the best thing to come out of Finland since Lordi won the Eurovision in 2006! If you had him in your team for Gameweek 2, the hat-trick hero managed a grand total of 17 points – double that if you had him as Captain and better still, if you had him as Triple Captain then the pints are on you for the Stag Party!

Gameweek 2 Dream Team

Standings

The average points for Gameweek 2 dropped to 41 points from 65 points in Gameweek 1. I definitely played a part in this as my team ‘Comehereiwantya’ amassed a grand total of 26 points. This abysmal points return coupled with the fact I also decided to play my Triple Captain for Mo Salah has me seriously considering reaching for that Wildcard. However, I do take some solace in the fact that my colleague here at The Stags Balls HQ, Shane and his team ‘Enter the Wagon’ are propping up The Stags Balls Conference table in 138th place.

In The Stags Balls Conference overall standings, Alex Ferguson would be proud of Padraic Behan who has knocked Liverpool fan Michael Masterson’s Ministry FC “right off their fucking perch”.

Michael drops down to 8th place while there are two newcomers in this weeks top 3 – Steven Flynn in 2nd place with his team ‘Flynnchester United’ and Ken Smith in 3rd place with his team ‘1 leg geordie’.

Now to play that Wildcard…
